The broken mind that achieved success

Source

I’ve been captured by the virtual camera world

caught in its interwoven web of captions

At first despised by the crowds in the millions due to good looks

Lack and deprivation must have set in when I first turned 10 years of age

Thus my fractured appearance (Up above) they no longer envy me though

Richness in high quality I have only known upon first purchase

My content appeals to no one anymore but the reched ones like myself

Those who never had the privelege to make it to the junk yard

tossed to the side of roadways

incapsulated in a broken image underneath a bridge

There's a huge problem with everything I attempt to do now

My engine hasn't started in over 25 years

All my internal systems have gone to complete shit

The birds and worms are eating at my once smooth waxed body

I'm decaying for god sakes without a proper burial site

I just been rotting here

My chasis has become a permanent part of the scenery for passers by

They never even dare to test drive me or take photos next to me like in the past

Maybe I'm unattractive and no-longer mobile anymore

Why me, is this all that I have left to live for

Poems inspiration

As a writer I have been through a great deal mentally and do know for certain that many others on the planet today have as well, and can relate to each others experiences of the mental kind today. The predominant factor that exists for us all, is that we do in fact go through very similar motions of thought exchange while dealing with many personal hardships.

Surviving that of your minds ability to defeat itself at times, will surely yield an intense response of oneself to adapt and overcome adversity. This is where true inner strength can be found and really discovered, which comes from the core of a persons motivation to make ends meet. It also can come from how a persons truest character exhibits their daily actions, in response to such a need to be met. From that point fourth, reaching out for assistance from others can also become prevalent, and without feeling worry, or having any fears of how others see your situation.

The yearning of a person to succeed in fulfilling the basic life essentials and quotas, sometimes makes this struggle for existence one of a beautiful nature. For somebody going through their very own life struggles, it also brings about at times the desire from another person to provide them help. This is a reality that shall always exist as long as we remain on this planet earth, and makes us whom we are, just human.

Conclusion:

As humans on planet earth our life cycle of birth and death goes on continuously and even if it seems to somehow shape shift in the format and functional role in which we all choose to play in the mix of it all. Just as scarcity, poverty and hunger pains are key indicators of hard times on approach.

How people choose to stick together through these rough chaotic times, will also determine the overall outcome for all those countless people, whom are unfortunate enough to be in the cross hairs of such a harsh reality.

When its all said and done, very few people are going to go out of their way to provide the type of moral support needed, or actually physical assistance towards each other required to regain oneself and to maintain their constitution or mental faculties.

By using imagery online combined with poetry, we can fully express ones deeper inward emotions, and it helps us to cope with feelings that other forms of self expression cannot. It also helps those writers who enjoy creating similes, and metaphors to release thier mental tensions.

I must say after being a member here for hubpages for a little over 2 years, I've discovered that many of my writer friends on Hubpages, have truly created some pretty powerful expressions during our crying times experienced on this great earth. I sincerely feel down to the core of my heart and existence that, its just a matter of time before many of us get discovered for the true creative talent we all bare. "Hang on folks, the ride isn't over yet!"

So hence fourth comes this poem, and out of the fact that helping oneself is also a huge element involved, which helps to complete the circle of life as we will tend to resort back to inward thinking much when things die down. (The author of this poem has conquered self doubt, many evils that plague humanity, depression, and worst situations that indeed exist.)

Mike, this poem and your message says a lot about facing reality and helping oneself make do in life as the result. Yes, we have support (hopefully) from friends and family but sometimes we have to step back and take a good look at the direction in which we are going. Often times it takes moving a few steps back before we are able to move forward.

Very meaningful hub, Mike. I have an idea I know what prompted this write.

Hi there Brave, I wrote this piece about a month ago, and finally had the courage to unleash it. I wanted to do a unique spoken word poem to go with it, thus the space filler of a old Classic Car video up there, but its all good. I will have one for it soon, just been very busy as usual :)

Thanks for giving this poem here a run for its digital pennies. Yup, looking back, and stepping back a bit from the scenes helps for sure, I must agree. I'm happy you liked it.

Hey there @old albion, I'm glad you could relate to my scribbles up there. It was a day I was feeling slightly down, just a tad bit, then I reached for a cool old car image I once used here in other hubs for assistance.

Then out came this poem about it, and the inspiration was stirred into the mix as well. Thank you so much for giving it a good read bro :)

Poetry, prose and reflective goodies all wrapped up into one excellent article. Wonderful thoughts with which to begin my day.

Blessings to you my friend; facing the trials, coming out the other end whole and complete....it don't get much better than that, brother.

What an excellent analogy in your poem. The way that you provided a summation of the poem was extremely insightful, both about the poem and a little insight into your motivation for writing it. Voted up.
