A heartbeat that never dies...
I lived a life, a long time ago
in which two hearts beat as one
and no matter what shore I hide
the haunting call of this other soul
can never be denied.
The wild hooves of challenge
stampede throughout our lives
In a maze of flying manes and tails
We grasp the wild, bucking stallion
but the courage within us fails
Yet in my dreams I deeply dive
Into the crested waves of love
the turbulent waters of passions freed
where bravely reigning in the beast
Our hearts find time to lead
And in the distance, far away
In a timeless, nameless place
I still hear the wild horse cries
thudding across the sands of time
a heartbeat that never dies.
