A poem, She loved the color of lavender
A picture collage echoes her love for her husband and family
She loved the color of lavender
I always knew
Just what to get her
A blouse, a coat, a skirt, even a purple straw hat
She would always smile and say,
" Oh you didn't need to buy that "
She was my childhood soulmate, my Sister Virgie whom we laid to rest yesterday
All of her loved one's were there
Those near and far away
A picture collage echoed her love for her husband and family
Her wedding day, the birth of a child, merry Christmas times
All smiling happily
My main focus, she is free, free of pain that was uncontrollable, finally peace and rest
The minister spoke eloquently concerning her life
Stating that she had done her very best
He spoke about a transition of peaceful sleep
His message I hold dear
And will forever keep
Locked within my heart until we meet again
My soulmate Virgie
My best childhood friend....RIP Sis.

My muse is constantly bugging me to take her south to lay in the sun on sandy beaches in Florida. Maybe I will. The election blues have got to go!
I was watching the sunset on a drab, gloomy day, missing my hummingbird's who had already flown South, and watching my squirrel, Squiggley store pecans for the winter when my muse took flight.
I've been somewhat afraid to travel due to the terrorist attacks throughout the world, but my psyche decided to speak up and make me rethink about living again.
