A poem about music ......"Musical attraction"

I had always believed of one kind of magic
complete and all the way
I sat waiting and the others did as well
a silence deafening to this day

She arrived on stage as if it were built
just for her solo
and began to play immediately and
I couldn't believe it was so

The soft glow of light lit her red shining lips
a shawl across one thin shoulder
the violin began it's slow sounds
slowly becoming boulder

So delicate a woman so delicate her
gift of magic
but what she did to my soul became
instantly tragic

Yet one time alone her gaze stole mine
and her playing the heart from my chest
laying it beating there for all to see
but it was her tears that did the rest

To this day I am hopelessly in love to
and to that music my soul is cast
it is her playing that holds my heart aloft
and will until the last

Dedicated to all of the women who can play or sing music !

A worthy dedication. Music is the language of the Soul. Nice one, Bro

Marvelous. What nice and pleasant thoughts this work incites. Live performers somehow always perform just for me.

Musically wonderful. Our muses have been hanging out together. I just recently also wrote a poem about melodies.
