A Taste of Freedom

Watermark/Light of the World

There's a yearning inside

crying out to be free

Breaking out of restraint

from every captivity

Soaring to greater heights

tasting love never known

To a place unfamiliar

full of grace to be shown

May we learn to seek You

leaving all else behind

For in grasping Your heart

there's a treasure to find

It is You, Oh my Father

who brings blush to my face

Creating life in a soul

when there wasn't a trace

What possession of man

has he that can give

The expression of love

"By Your life- we live"

You have imparted a gift

meeting the greatest of need

From the wages of sin

our soul can be freed..

I Peter 1:8,9

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him;

and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him

and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

for you are receiving the goal of your faith,

the salvation of your souls...

This is a really beautiful poem and it really speaks to me. It's nice to read something that I can relate to. Keep writing! I would even suggest a links that explain Salvation for people who may be searching.
