Accepting Life's Course
Accepting Life’s Course

Always darkest before the dawn,
our lives in struggle break through,
like an explosion, an epiphany.
Faith in the carriage of life,
comes to those who believe
in the transformation of love.
Circumstances can change in a second,
what was the greatest obstacle,
suddenly the debris of past.
What holds the circumstance,
is believing in its strength,
believing it cannot be overcome.
It is we, who design our impediments,
place them before us
in an attempt to stifle truth.
But truth finds us in the end,
and delivers itself without compromise,
leaving us wounded and we hope enlightened.
Life is fair and balanced,
although it often appears otherwise,
weaving its experiences into souls,
who one day will recognise why.
Acceptance is not an easy end,
but truth will tolerate no other.
Honesty must be found.
