Ageless Tale of Love (poem)

An ageless tale of lovers here these two

Whose honeymoon has yet to see an end

To bliss this pair so constantly renew

A kiss between a lover and a friend

To be as these while other lovers dream

Whose hopes afloat from mundane earth bound care

Share eyes still filled with spring’s eternal stream

For youth in love bear witness to this pair

Where there is one the other is close by

If not in sight some image near their heart

No distance dared to separate their sigh

And in their love each day would end and start

An ageless tale of love with tearful blight

He died while he was kissing her good night

That is how love should be, forever until death do them part ... what a way to go though, with a sweet kiss.

Beautifully written, Mh, as always! The video is magical. I love the different designs of rose petals on the beds and the drawing of the couple dancing in the moonlight with the twinkling stars all around : )

Oh dear. Here I was sailing along with this great love when I hit a brick wall! Well done. A beautiful love poem with a totally unexpected ending!

Voted up, awesome, beautiful, and interesting.

His new journey was sealed with a kiss. What a beautiful way to move on to the next plane.

I know of cases where this, or carrying the loving further than the kiss, has resulted in the demise of one of the couple. However, as brave warrior has written, what a lovely way to go (not for the partner, though!).

Did he die on the first night Martin? That is a shame. You wrote that so beautifully too, they sounded like perfect lovers. I voted up, shared and pinned it.
