Alive in The Current of Love by Manatita
To The Memory of Beauty
In search of You, my Besotted,
I have crossed many rivers;
And awoken on the horizon’s edge.
Forgetting that You are my Beloved,
I was confused, and lost myself in many loves.
Only now do I realise, that a half empty cup
Of loneliness and dejection,
Requires Love, so as to surface to the brim of happiness.
Like a pill of forgetfulness,
The lure of desire had entangled me in its mundane grip,
And I could not recall Thy sweet name.
But now I know that the painful war
Raging inside my head and emotions,
Was very necessary to my awakening.
All this time, like a soft chisel of Light,
You delicately chipped away at my uncomely thoughts.
Now, inebriated with the wine of gladness,
I stagger drunkenly with the zephyrs,
On the glow of sunflowers in the breath of Spring.
Written as a MEDITATION. Read with the music of the Video
As I bathe and ascend on Your balcony of Light,
My boat of plenitude, plies with the current of Love,
Soaring above and into the depths of my longing.
As an unfathomable peace engulfs me; I find myself
Transported on the lap of symphonies.
All my past anguish has become sweet;
My distress transformed into blessings.
Your love swallows me,
With the luminosity of the moon and sun;
I remain filled, with a carousel of golden moments.
Beloved, let me continue to look at You, every day,
So as to paint Your glory within my heart;
Let us merge in divine communion,
To that changeless state of enduring Love.
I wish to be transported, as
Your Palanquin of beautiful flowers;
A paladin of Love. Conquering sorrow,
And showering in the joys of heaven's Delight..
