All-Consuming Love. (poem by Manatita)
All-consuming Love, Thou sacred fire, burning
Bright, brighter, brightest, inside my heart.
Showering your constant flow of Grace
Into a wretch like me. Who can equal You,
O Source of all auspiciousness?
How can I fathom Your infinite mercy?
Without deserving Thy surrendered Will,
Thou bestowest it;
When I offend Thee not, it seems not there.
All-consuming Love, in Your embodied form.
You are an unparalleled sweetness-smile.
You are the Root; Foundation; Dearest ...
Not because You're omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent,
But because You're all Love.
O Unmanifest, some say that Thy embodiment,
Is greater than You. Still, O wise and munificient One,
Even the Manifest Itself, to me, is also Thee.
You are the very Breath of being.
A consuming Love

All-consuming Love, do listen to my heart's cry;
Forgive my sorrows, and
Enfold me tenderly in Thy sheltering arms.
Push forward my sweet sacrifice for Thy loving cause.
And may Thy victory-banner,
Fly steadfastly amidst the turmoil of earthy strife.
Ever-endearing Beloved, You are my all.
Thou blessed in human form!!
The road is long, and I am not fleet of pace.
Remember, from Thy perpetual realm,
Thy loving feet I much adore.
And should a rug be sort for nestling your tender sole,
May I be truly free and merge in Thee. - Manatita 25/12/03.
