A Poem About Love In the Clouds: All In The Cloud

Source

All In The Cloud

Hypnotic cerulean sky

drew her in.

The evanescence cloud

cast its spell and

whispered her name

in soft soothing waves.

And like morning mist

Sits.

Kissed by summer sun,

hugged by fitful breeze

dissipates, disperse

vanishes into nothingness.

Behind her blinded eyes

needles of sorrow stings.

She waited for the dagger to bite,

for the taste of bitterness to rise,

for the emptiness to take hold

like a million times before.

Yet;

deep within her core,

a lightness grow

as the darkness fades.

The storm passed by

she floated up high

In esoteric truth.

Enfold in womb, bright fluffy white

she felt the affirming flame.

As worlds collide

she smiled,

and felt again,

beyond the haze, he speaks her name.

As I stare out in the clouds I love how you made the clouds come to life. Very creative and I also believe looking at the clouds changes our moods. Today the sky is filled with the lightest white clouds off in a distance. I went to get up and follow them and see where they will take me. Leading me to another day of wonder and surprise .I enjoyed your poem very much.

Tuatha, thank you for reading this, much appreciated. Nature is indeed a wonder from the smallest creature, a simple flower to the wide open heavens. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, we just need to look. I'm so glad you've enjoyed the hub. My best to you.:)

It is amazing the emotion and realization that nature brings to us. By watching it and letting it flow through us, our emotions seem to move along easier, better, seeing lights and beauty at the end of the tunnels we find ourselves in. Thank you Jo!

Hi Janis, always a pleasure to see you. I'm so glad you've enjoyed the poem.

When I wrote it, I had something specific in mind, but I also love it when the reader is able to put their own personal slant to a poem, so yes, the voice could be Divine intervention, directly or indirectly. :) Thank you for taking the time, much appreciated.

Take care and my best to you.

Very delicate and beautiful piece, tobusiness. You have captured the essence of a cloud. At the end, is that God who speaks her name? I found it very spiritual as well. Up and beautiful.

Jo, I read this last night but I was too groggy to comment properly.

This morning is a different matter. I am wide-eyed and bushy-tailed and in the proper frame of mind for this lovely trip back in memory. We used to lay on the ground and watch the clouds, seeing shapes, nary a word spoken, both of us wrapped up in our own fantasy. Lovely memories and thank you for reminding me of them. I think today Bev and I need to find a patch of grass to lay down on. :)

blessings always

bill

Devika, it doesn't sound stupid at all, there are days when the clouds does appear to be reaching out to us. In that first image, I really wanted to capture a heart in the cloud and there it was. I believe the world needs more dreamers with the imagination of children. :)

Thank you for the wonderful comment and for reading this, always appreciated. Have a fun weekend and my best to you.

Jackie, nice to see you. I've seen some of your images on both yours and Faith's pages and I loved them. Like you, I prefer my clouds to be natural, which is just as well, because I'm pretty hopeless at using photo tools. The most I was able to do with these was to cut them down a little and that's as far as my expertise goes. :)

Thank you for stopping by and for the lovely comment, it's always a pleasure. Take care and enjoy the weekend.

Hi Jodah, sometimes it's the little things that gets you, thanks for the 'hugged' the word I needed was actually 'nudged' as in a gentle prod but I like hugged. :) I'm glad you enjoy the hub. About the profile, so many of us take the bees for granted, most people are unaware of how important they are in maintaining life on this planet. We should do whatever we can, so lets spread the word. Unfortunately, not many of us are in a position to achieve self sufficiency, but for those who are able to get back to nature, it's a wonderful achievement.

Take care and my best to you.

All In The Cloud I sometimes gaze up in the sky on a clear day or cloudy day, and used to think it was easy to touch the cloud that was when I was little but now looking back on those thoughts it does sound stupid, a beautifully written hub.

Faith, always a pleasure to see you here. I took these photos down in Dorset, having spent the best part of a day chasing clouds, but I was very happy with the results. Jackie is very talented and generous I'v seen some of her clouds images and they are beautiful. Thank you for reading this, my best to you and enjoy your weekend.

Love Jo.

Wow, Jo, this is absolutely beautiful! I love how your poem has many deeper meanings, but I, too, do love just gazing up at those beautiful puffs of white, especially, now, when my grands are up and we are out on a beautiful day.

Thank you for this beauty here. Up and more and sharing

I am blessed for my sweet friend, who commented here, Jackie, sends me, as a gift, her lovely photos of clouds in the sky. She did so just this evening.

Hope you have a very lovely weekend sweet friend,

Faith Reaper

Hi Jo, this is a lovely poem. So true, it is amazing how much you can see in the clouds. I read your profile and am pleased that you are doing your bit to protect our planet. Saving the honey bees is one of the things that needs our most urgent attention. I too have similar beliefs and have written a hub on attempting self-sufficiency and not taking our planet and resources for granted. (you might just check this out in your poem...it seems you have written "nugged" instead of hugged. "Kissed by summer sun, nugged by fitful breeze". Voted up

I used to spend long stretches of time gazing at the clouds, and this poem reminds me of that time. It's something how we can see almost anything in them, project what we want, or is it really there? Nice poem and images.

Wow, gorgeous poem and clouds. I love them too. Certain nice days if there are no clouds I don't take pictures, they just aren't as good. I know some ppl put clouds in their pictures but I would rather have the natural. Anyway, I love it!

Beautiful poem, Jo! Wonderful pictures as well! Clouds are mesmerizing; I have that feeling from the ground but even more when I see a blanket of those fluffy white stuff when I am in an airplane. Just fascinating!

Thanks for sharing.... and have a wonderful weekend!
