All The Christmas Lights- a poem

The houses decorated for Christmas get ones attention.

I passed by a house
I had never
Seen before,
I saw
Colorful twinkling
Around each
Window and door.

The roof was
Adorned by
So white,
The walkway
Was traceable
By silvery light.

In the yard hiding
In every nook
Were Christmas elves,
And candy canes.
I just had to look
At the smile
Cast upon
The face
Of a
Standing there.
And the star
On the
Chimney way up
In the air!

If ever
I saw
A more
Decorated place
This will
Draw smiles
On everyone's face.

To tell us that
Is already here.
They don't have to
Take it down-
Let's keep it
All Year!

Yes, the magic of Christmas should be spread out over the year. You have conveyed that magic here and what a wonderful sight you have given us in words. Thank you for this Christmas treat.
