All beauty must come to an end

All Beauty Must Come to An End

Sara M. Kaddoura

finger nails on the wall

[scratching] you're ready to fall

water pours from the ceiling

And you don't know what I’m feeling

loneliness and darkness speak

As anxiety reaches its peak

Hell breaks on the lose

Yet your beauty is my only muse

Graceful like an angel, so tall

Yet angels are dark as they fall

Beauty laced in such a body

And the night promises to be bloody

Your graceful body and long black hair

For you are Aphrodite's long lost heir

With lips of an angel, rich in red

Yet beauty promises a bloodshed

And your fingers so lively play the violin

And the notes dance, as i hand you the GIN

A voice of sirene, so slick and tempting

It calls my name feel my heart accelerating

Singing into the smoggy dark

You're beauty was like an ARK

The moon casts its treacherous nets

And demons on your soul place their bets

Soon your heart will be covered with frost

And your little soul you would have lost

By the night that has a thousand eyes

And a million blade at rise

Let us dance

In this trance

let us lose track of time

for the night is at its prime

And let the bodies twirl in deceit

For in the darkness there is no retreat

For your beauty is treacherous like wine

so mesmerizing in sensation so divine

And the souls that scream for beauty and lust

will be surrounded in darkness, and that is a must

And alluring hearts pumping in bloody red

will be the appetizers for my demons unfed

And the eyes of dark with rings of blood

will watch the little blood on the floor flood

Yet every beauty and lust in this life must fade

As death's claws claim beauty in this raid

...well ...'yin and yang' is a good thing in any body of work ..... to be able to go between the darkness and the light in one's writing defines the complete writer.

I truly hope that ' your beauty never comes to an end' because you have written so many wonderful and evocative words here at your hub .....and your imagery is so potent and powerful that I'm sure a director would love to make a video from your work!

jayb23 : thanks for your comments and supportive nature.

epigramman : yes the transition between light and dark sometimes gets troublesome :D

I would really love to find someone who would turn those poems into songs or videos. Getting to share my poems with people on a higher level would be a new experience.
