An Easter Poem: He Spelt Love Give
He spelt love G-I-V-E
He spelt love G-I-V-E, I know because He gave himself
Even His body and His mind and His
Soul, so cold, in that moment of separation
Probably like an
Eternity, because we're told 1 day is
Like a thousand of His years- and there were 3!
Torment for atonement
Love in action like never before
Opening the floodgates for souls to restore
Vindicated, now hope fulfilled, behold-
Everything is made new!
Glad to have been poured out so we could be
In the Fathers arms
Very sure of our eternity
Entirely sure of everlasting peace
*For American readers bear in mind that in UK English both spelled and spelt are the same thing.
