Another Woman Born

Starless night, no moon in sight

a father's daughter's first prom night

Crushed roses and passions spent

innocent's blood staining

the rich Corinthian leather

the prom gown torn

and curfew forgotten.

His baby girl no more

another woman is born.

 

I have often wondered at the irony that I should become the father of three girls. In my small town, there is very little to do if you're a teenager. Sex all to often becomes a sport.
