As Time Stands Still
As Time Stands Still By Diana Pierce
Rush and rush up an endless hill,
We cannot stop or time stands still.
Fast pace means an extra dollar,
Don’t fall down or spill the water.
We’re like bees a making honey;
Glory for the world of money,
Don’t trust anything, but good will,
Or you’ll be lost as time stands still.
As master minds are on the rise,
Be careful now to trust the wise,
Plan the days of milk and honey,
Endless days of fun are plenty.
By now you know we all need sleep,
So hopeless are the ones who weep.
Winding hours they wish to fill,
Rest peaceful now as time stands still.

Memorial poem for my brother who was a farmer struck down with cancer at an early age of forty five.
Ask his fans; ask his friends, his skills are surely heaven sent. A poem inspired by the king of Rock and Roll. Elvis is forever in my heart.
I love watching the classic westerns. This hub is about one of my favorites, The Virginian (1962-1971) The Virginian celebrated there 50th anniversary of the shows first airing in 2012.
