By My Side- a poem

All young hands unite.
All young hands unite. | Source

A Powerful Song with a Powerful Message.

My hands were cold,

But He was there to keep it warm

With Divine touch,

God made His

Form into man.

My eyes were blind but

He was there to help me see

The beauty all around

This land.

I was afraid and even

As I shook with fear,

He calmed me

And stayed

By my side.

I looked for love

Yet I discovered

That within me

His Light

Cannot hide.

In my humanness

I am weak,

Yet I can find

All this strength I need

With Jesus Christ, our Lord.

And the strength He will provide

Assures that He is

By my Side

And I will remain

With Him forever.

Awsome poem. I remember Him always by my side as a child and even now. I love that image of everyone holding hands. This is so beautiful to glorify our Lord. Voted Way Up and sharing. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Reminds me of a lot of my favorite Christian songs. Thanks for a terse, beautiful, succinct poem!
