"Because I love you"
"The delicate heart of a feminist & a sweeping touching emotion"
"A feminist love"
Yes! I admit it, I am a femist!
That's because I love me, and I don't need any charity.
Its not a secret or did you forget, I am the reason you exist.
I carried, nurtured, and embraced you, my love is wholehearted, honest and true.
When times got hard I kept our struggles at bay, found away to fill your gloomy empty days.
When things got rough and I wanted to screem, I made away for you to hold onto your dreams.
When you ask me was there a santa clause, didn't I put on my red hat on and walk the halls?
When you inquired about the easter bunny, didn't I put on my fake fur and hug you honey?
When your birthday came as it does every yr., didn't I help you blow out your candles on your cupcake dear?
When your father left and you ask'ed why? I couldn't cut corners or tell you any lies, Yes! your father is gone without even saying goodby, no forwarding address or explanation why, he just decided to take a permanent flight.
Now I know the news is hard to bare, but I don't have time or room for despair, I have to comb your sisters hair, tie your brothers shoes, cook breakfast for all of you, and walk everyone to school.
But the mother in the feminist took her place, wiped the tears from upon their faces, huddled them all together and tried to explain why, the ingreedients of life are like an apple pie, sometimes an apple pie is sweet as can be, and we like that taste don't we?
But there are times the pie is bitter, and every bite is bitter-sweet, then mommy comes along and adds a little sugar to make the pie complete.
Life is like that, sometimes we like the way it is and sometimes we don't, but mommy is hear to help you understand why the gravity in life always expands, and its always great to know mommy understands.
So when you get lonely, and your mind begins to question one of your missing links remember, mommy will always be near, to comfort and help you through those tough questions and challenging yrs.
