Be That Flower That We See
Men are just so blind.
They wander to and fro.
They like what they find.
They just do not know,
How or when to say,
The words you need to hear,
They see a sweet bouquet,
But their thoughts aren't crystal clear.
They're awkward and they stumble.
They often drop the ball.
And love they often fumble.
Sometimes pride is their downfall.
But dear girl make no mistake,
If given half the chance,
That chance he'd surely take,
If you'd join him in a dance.
He's clumsy and unsure,
Of how he'll be received,
But often his heart is pure,
And often he's been deceived.
But you are a beautiful flower.
This you cannot hide.
And if he had the power,
He'd be right by your side.
So be that flower that we see,
And love with all your heart.
And if you grant this plea,
Your prince will never part.
