Poems by LLS - Blessed in the Way of the Lord
In the early days my desires were many.
My childish wants substance lacked.
Being taught to leave it to the Lord,
He gave me most of what I asked.
Over the growing years came wisdom.
Desires should be asked by need.
The path seemed long and hard.
His answers were nurturing seeds.
As I moved along the pathway.
I had the power in my mind.
Leave the needs to the Lord.
Your every wish is close behind.
In the waning years of my life,
My wants and desires are few.
As I pass this message over,
I pray God give this gift to the new.
My life has been full and happy.
I've been blessed in the way of the Lord.
