Poem. Because looks can be Deceiving.

Because Looks!

Can be deceiving!

In so many

Places

In so many

Instances

During

So many

Times

In so

Many ways

We humans

Resemble

Each other

In

So many

Of our

Actions

We appear

To be the

Same

But everything

About us

Is deceitfully

Different.

Some of us

May go on

to create

A fuss

About it

Sometimes

get into

fights

About it

But seemingly

We are

Unaware

that every

tail

have a right

to carry

its own

uniquely

Formulated

Scent.

Always say

What’s on

Your mind.

A life freely

Lived

Is a life

That will

always

Be paid for

Later

In the

correct

Time

It sometimes

feels like

Someone

Saying

Step up!

Take a look

At what’s

Behind

Door number

Three

You don't

have to

search

Just go

ahead

see what

you will

Find.

Being humans.

We would

Never

All check in

At the same

Time

Neither in

the same

way

Some come

in as

Brothers

As sisters.

Biologically

Joined

by their

parents

Life

Others

are simply

Fighting

to remain

A Husband

who is still

Having

a great

Relationship

With his

wife.

Similarly

A Wife

With a ring

on hand

Trying

to have

a great

relationship

With her

Husband

Because

Looks can

be deceiving!

Thank you "AE" Yes so many of us forget to remember, that the true beauty of a person comes from the inside rather than an outward look, that's usually deceiving.

Yes I remember when she started to sing to look on their faces. But I could honestly say, that most of us at one time or another got caught with what was automatically supposed to be pretty , while knowing nothing about the beauty that lies beneath the skin.

Thank you again for such a great comment.

Bless.

I had to click funny as well as awesome, the skunk is hilarious. HaHa.. I remember the shocked look on the judge's face when the woman from England started to sing so beautifully. She looked like a middle-aged , unattractive woman. I love your thoughts on this piece. So many of us look on the outside and judge from what we see, never knowing what's inside. Thank you for the reminder....

Thanks you brethren Frank as we are supposed to be the masters of disguise , in so many ways on hp , but as was mentioned by the nice lady before , it really doesn't matter what the looks mat be like the great ones deals with the content of ones character.

Sincere thanks .

Bless.

brandasaur very sweet, that exactly what the poem says , and I am happy to know that you are actually saying the very same thing inside of yourself .Hard for many to say and mean.

That where are the same humans and Beauty , it truly on the inside.

Thank you very much , I now look forward to visit you in the near future.

Bless.

Yes, looks can be deceiving and what you have inside is the one that really matters. Be unique as always, don't copy anyone's personality because we have our own that makes us very beautiful to others. Don't look for outside beauty, as the title says, LOOKS can be DECEIVING. Beauty fades, but the beauty inside you never change!
