Bending the rules

Again!

Nothing matters or does it.....

as the rules get bent over backwards on purpose
by that of the rule makers

purely to rule all others
on a much higher scale or plateau

Like Leaping Lemurs Living Lavishly.....

high flying across mountain peaks
Beyond speculation and regiment

ski slopping everything out of proportion again
ages of lies

aching to be told the truth.....

Forbidden deceptions alert the masses
Truth be told only to those most blind to its bat like sonar frequencies

sensory perception.....

Adept aptitude to the new age altitude
breath takers seek refuge

like vampire rats nibbling at every suggestion
regulated by radar and satellite signals automated systems

Mechanical impulses and systematic feedback loops.....

A leaking pipe tells the faucet mouth to shut the hell up
as it bursts from overloading pressures exceeding the max flow-rate

Room temperature reaching the boiling point of a computers mainframe
not following the procedures correctly

Database.....

mind boggled Dr. Jeckle like heckled hackers
poking into a wooded forest filled with sticks of electronic dynamite

blowing their fuses profusely.......

each time they thought they'd breach security they didn't
Counter measures in place to anti-spam them all out of existence

New legions of Army generals with Halo helmets prepared for virtual wars
Stopping any attempt to create more rules that are made to be broken AGAIN & AGAIN

Wow. Great poetry. Its one of the things about poetry and prose that I so enjoy...and that is that you get to break all the rules!

@wayne barrett, thanks bro yup me too, I hate to feel conformed or restrained from voicing whats deep within my heart and soul. I am so much in love with poetry for that very reason :)

@whonunuwho, Thanks for the cool comment. Yup, I try to do a little bit of verbal digging for gold with it all, and sometimes come up for air with some cool platinum word pieces or two LOL. Its fun to play with words like this, who knows where it all might take us right! as us wild and zany creative poets keep plugging away so aimlessly. hah!

Free form at its finest, Mike! A raging river of images and thoughts, random and yet not so....a poet in the groove. Well done buddy!

@billybuc, thanks bro I dug deep for this one, and got lucky somehow with all the technical Jargon flowing in my piston cylinder of a mind LOL :)

Churning mix of messages and images that pushes upward...I love lemurs and at first i was like "why lemurs" but then i was like "why not, lemurs are awesome!"

@MsDora, Thank you MsDora, I remember when I was young and a teacher had taugh me that poetry technique :) I figured why not just throw it in the mix of things to change up the flow and tempo & I'm so glad you liked it, now I shall do more of this in the near future for sure since many people enjoyed it.

Nice one Mike....

I have always considered the rules of society as " more general guidelines" . For me... anything with zero immoral connection is perfectly okay....

CloudExplorer 3 years ago from New York City Author

@rahul0324, Thank bro, yeah man rules are funny like that aren't they :)

I just love paving on and pressing on myself, and watching all the madness occur at times, it not amusing to see other suffer though. Nope I cannot bear to witness such things, but I shall put on the good fight to reverse all the damage that's been done and try to stop whats to come from such ignorance for sure.

Hi Mike,

Very interesting and honestly, i didn't much expect ... computers mainframe, automated systems, database... in it. I enjoyed reading and like your style of writing. Voted up and interesting.

@dwachira, thanks bro for the comment and for sharing, yeah I like to dibble and dabble into the technical wordplay a bit when I throw up these wacky poems.

Purely technical poetry isn't well received much yet online (At least not many of my elder tech poems), but when I mix it up I guess folks have found a way to appreciate it, which is so cool :) I'm happy you dig it bro!

Pretty amazing writing and expression. I see this live and in action, now, yesterday, tomorrow, right here, as we speak. You have a keen perception of reality. Voted up and interesting.

CloudExplorer profile image

CloudExplorer 3 years ago from New York City Author

@janshares, Its tough to call it some day's, but when I see so much misdirection running around in every direction. Well its all I can due is reflect upon such angular momentum's :)

Crazy reality we are living in currently, and its only going to get much more virtual, and less and less real I bet. Thanks for the cool comment and for spreading the hub love towards me.

@rebeccamealey glad you liked it, I went hard on it and had so much fun writing it. I wonder what would happen if I removed it from Hubpages and Loaded it up onto Bubblews :) who knows right! Thanks for giving it a good read, and for sharing!

Great! A multitude of moments of truth running through. More than misdirection we're living with total incompetence and a lack of leadership.

Voted up, useful, and interesting.

Beautiful! Reminded me of Animal Farm - All are equal, but some are more equal. Those who lay the rules change them to suit their purposes.

Thank you tillsontitan, glad you liked this poem, I dove deep into the fun factors of my poetry writing with this one :)

CloudExplorer profile image

CloudExplorer 2 years ago from New York City Author

@Hema Gangadharan oh yes those who are to break the rules and feel justified in doing so mainly are the rule makers themselves :) Thanks for caring to give my poem some thought, and for the supportive comment.
