Beware, Lamb Chop!

Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing

who's not who he portends to be...

presents with appeal overflowing...

a hunter, most cunning, is he.

Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing

who preys upon innocent souls...

carefully stalking his victims,

to lure and consume are his goals.

Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing.

He's slick in his speech, charm and grace...

His motives, though mean and quite selfish,

are disguised by the smile on his face.

Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing

whose words drip like sweet berry wine...

He delights in a heart unsuspecting,

upon which he can ruthlessly dine.

Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing

or you could find yourself an hors d'oeuvre...

A wolf's favorite meal is the lamb chop...

served with relish, devoured with verve!

Beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing,

in his coat made of polished steel wool.

His teeth are so sharp, yet alluring...

who's committed to be no one's fool.

Beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing

that's not who he portends to be...

A most clever and devious fellow…

that dines on the lamb chop with glee!

Very sound advice given in such an eloquent way. The wolves can be very convincing nowadays but given the choice I would always choose to be the chop but ensure the wolf choked on me!

We are all sheep hanging out in back of the barn when the person in charge brings us in for some grain. Some of us don't go and live to write about it.
