Poem : "Big Trouble" My Dream!

Updated on December 19, 2011

“My dream”

I am not as yet

that blind

There was this

a huge fence

Circling the premises

We were in

Big Trouble.

We were looking

For the entrance.

There were plenty

Hanging signs

Wow so many

But we did not

Take the time

To read them all.

Not looking

for a specific one

that's says

“No trespassing”

Not like it

Was not posted

Everyplace

We were actually

Lost you know

It’s not enough

to figure out

Anything

This here is lost

without a trace.

Take a second

To think

Put your foot

In our shoe

Lost somewhere

In the boondocks

Neither of us

got a clue.

I can feel it

everything

about this place

Is warning

that we were

In big trouble

The back roads

Of America

It’s not always

friendly territory

It can sometimes

be a very spooky

treacherous place.

We don’t know

Where we are

Or what we are

Looking for.

Light was fading

very Fast

Was at least six

Hours ago

Was the last time

We filled up

our Gas

This is the only

place we saw

In looking

both direction

As far as

the eyes could see

I looked at my

Friend

He looked at me

We already knew

This was no

little lost bubble

We where

definitely in

Big trouble.

Then suddenly

There was this

faint Bark

A little distance

Away.

The daylight was

Wearing thin,

It was all turning

Dark.

Someone was

Coming

Their Body

language

Was not friendly

Footsteps gave

A hint of

the tension

As his dog

a pit-bull

Silently

Sniffed and stared

As he drueled

out the sides of

hIs mouth.

What are you

doing here?

A voice shouted

You are

trespassing!

Standing on

private property.

Speak quickly

He said

Or I’ll turn

the dog Loose

Either that

or a bullet

will lead to

The lynch Man’s

Noose.

Quickly I said:

We are heading

Down south Sir

Can’t figure what

Happened

Shameful to say

we have lost

Our way

Trying to get to

Georgia before

“Christmas day.”

The man said:

This is a dirt road

You crossed over

That big bumps

and Huddles

With a red and white

No trespassing

Sign

You boys are in

Big trouble

Stay in your vehicle

The police are

already on their way.

This sign is always

Visible at night

Even more so

In the day

This was the time

Of our life.

These two people

Looks mean

One of them

From the look

on his face

The likes of

our kind not

regurarly seen

No soon after

The Police arrived

The man said there

They are boys.

You came at the

Right time

We thought that

This was the year

Santa finally sent

The correct toys.

The Police said

Place your hands

On top of the car

Frisked us, cuffed us

Drove a little way

Stopped at the

Entrance of

the property

he pointed

and said

Read this sign!

You boys had just

Committed

A biblical crime

In these parts

it's called the

perfect Sin.

The sign read:

We don't call

911

If you believe

in life after death,

stay on this road

pray as you are

Coming in!

Because you

are in

Big Trouble

“My Dream”

Bless.
