Black Rose Poem

His Black Rose

Black Rose

Such a glory garden I lived in

Darkness was my shelter

Bees landed upon my lips

Their sting being my daily kiss

My lover so far across the garden

He was blue and lonely

Days passed before he said

I love you

My petals opened with perfumed essence

I sent a kiss his way

His petals opened and he stared at me

With eyes so blue

Years passed and soon I was moved to his side

A small sign became our home

It said Oddity Roses

He simply called me his love

His Black Rose

Sublime perfection in poetic art, Miss B, I'm glad I wrote mine first, lol, or else upon seeing this literary miracle I would have been scare shiteless to attempt my challenge. lol.

The Secret life of flowers indeed and their poetic language is so seductive too courtesy of the grand lady writer with the golden pen in her hand.

Hubbravo from the epi-man my glorious Miss B .

So what is our next challenge?

Sending your warm wishes and good energy from Colin and his cats and I always take a moment to wish you good health.

Sharing this beauty with a FB group called Music and writing at lake erie time 4:44pm

Very complimentary praise but we both know you're the genius in poetry. Thanks Epi, hmmm what to do next how about a challenge on Nightmares. trying to get some of that dark mysterious Epi out in text.

Nightmares? You mean my love life? lol

How are you feeling today my dear friend? I wanna know. Please.

Just finished cooking a whole chicken with gravy, potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Now I need a nap.

p.s. - how would you like my nightmare? Funny or dark and scary?

Dark of course, I know there will be a surprise coming from you.

Feeling OK still have a lot ahead of me, but writing is helping me.

Your dinner sounded yummy, I fail roasting chickens it seems.
