Blue is a brief bolster,
As a hind holster.
Stop, go, stop, go.
Daily duplications of dizzying deploy.
Dislike and alike.
First time, many times, last time.
Stay a while and impart,
With the blue comfort.
Originally written February 13, 2008. This poem was merely about the daily grind of riding the light rail and bus to school every day. I wrote it to express my thoughts about the public transit in Sacramento and the daily routines I experienced and witnessed. It's a minimalist poem with some rhymes/slant rhymes and alliteration. Despite having some rhymes, which is unusual for my style of writing, it still doesn't follow any particular structure, so don't try to make too much sense of it.
