Body Scans

In airports where be body scans

To scan each part of every man,

No one need ever fear to fly.

With devices like what we spy,

Our might will now all understand.

Who are we to question this plan

If it tips the predator’s hand?

Now exposed, let’s head to the sky

In airports.

Such indignities we withstand,

Giving rights away with open hand.

Never ask about some part sly

That wrongly condemns you and I

As we lambs accept these demands

In airports.

I'm pretty surprised that HP let you get by with that picture. . . .it's even more surprising to me, really, what they DON'T let us get by with.

I really think that the U.S. of A. is a thing of the past, everyone just is so eager to have big daddy government protect their scared little selves from everything. . . .and government can't do much of that, but they all seem so effin' willing to give away every last right that we used to have.

Ben Franklin said, and I paraphrase, "those willing to give up freedom for safety deserve neither," that I agree completely.

I would be annoyed if they didn't let it get by. That's what the scans reveal and it's annoying to think that some people can see that kind of stuff (though I'm wondering if seeing some people might make porn less addictive...thoughts on that one?)

Yeah. I sometimes think that we've made our lives so busy and frenetic that we don't even have a chance to recognize the rising water temp of our fish bowl. Scary.

Oh you're right on the porn thing, that stuff in the 80's. . . .yuck.

Fish bowl analogy is supercalifragilisticly on the button too.

Well, I deleted the picture. To be quite blunt, it still doesn't suit me. I don't want to be some prig always striving to be right...but that's what I am anyway.
