Lingering Thought

Borrowed Time, Borrowed Space

Staring at the distance

Pondering which way to go

Lost in thought

Wondering who

Asking why

This has happened

All over again

Confused, dumbfounded

Doesn’t know the answer

The lingering thought

Is all about it

Like a boomerang

It keeps coming back

No past, no future

Only the present

For they merge

So confounding

Still seeking, searching

Asking why…

Borrowed time

Borrowed space

Is all we’ve gotten

Here on earth

Where does this lead me?

A nowhere to an end

Just plodding

Just going

Keeping

Holding

Still…

A light beaconing

Giving, sharing

Doesn’t matter

Everybody is living

A borrowed time

And a borrowed space…

P.S...this is just a thought that comes out of the blue while reading poems and stories...you inspire me fellow hubbers...thank you!!!

Borrowed time and borrowed space, that is all we have. I found this quite sad. What do we fill that empty space with

beautifully written Raciniwwa

Pretty poem even though the conclusion is a kinda ugly, but it's a real one though.

I feel where your heading with it all. Honestly, I feel life is a challenge besides it being something we somehow borrowed, because I don't really believe in the whole time thing.

We all are compelled by man made time constraints, but imagine if mankind never decided to keep track of it all, what would we be borrowing then?

Awesome Poem I love your writing Raciniwa, Voted up as beautiful & Interesting. Give me more! can't wait to read more.

yes, as what you've said Cloud explorer,i am capable of displaying different kinds of emotion and this one was one of those times i felt down, but anyway i realize that we are just transients...

and yes, i agree that we are limiting ourselves, by restraining our desires of the heart, and i agree with you on that...i don't want to track my time when i work as well, i want to do things not governed by those rules...
