Brief Reflections.

to belly button,
love's sweetest

when all else has
been unbuttoned.

We are
silent much like

misty rain,
after we

exhale our last.

The ground absorbs

our essence,
in soundless places,
till bones
tumble in clatters

returning to dry dust.

A Vertical Plunge.

Between here
and serenity
mere inches
from your kiss
I pause,
savoring the moment
of your eyes
already closed,
your lips
eagerly parted,
till impulse
demands contact....
with sheer bliss.

From The Muck Of A Sty.

It's that wicked
itch you get,
when lust or
greed overpowers,
as you eye the prize,
and scratch your morality.
