Walk it off...walk it off ........

Like a fire out of control
on the prairie
uncontained and burning wild
An angry child intent on
coloring outside the lines
Call it what you want ........
Humanity pushes the pushover a little to far
on occasion
Today I'm up against the wall
and like the trees
of autumn ......I'm turning
And just for a moment if the
situation presents itself
I may break
something inside wants it
to happen
My attention is drawn to the
asshole on my tailgate
will it be him
no .....don't let it be
Or the professor looking
guy who just cut in line
and turns to check
my reaction..........
Walk away
walk away
right now........
He doesn't know the
danger
behind him.......

I can feel anger and frustration while walking on the cramped street.

The problem with swallowing anger is the bellyful waiting to erupt on the wrong person, in the wrong place, and at the wrong time.

Sunnie I agree wholeheartedly ! You are right its better left unsaid or we become as judgemental and shortsighted as those who offend our sensitivities. I am very laid back and have let many things said slide right over my head! Sometimes without even getting it LOL. But I guess that only means I won!.....just be the sweetheart you are now !:-}

Vinaya , YES ! me too , I have never liked crowds at all , or standing in lines for that matter! I am one of those "I'll sit with my back to the wall "kind of guys!.........:-}

WillStarr ! Yes my friend , you are so right about that . And its never fair ! I believe we are still ,far better off with resolve , patience , and a deep understanding that no one is perfect , so do we forgive them, who offend us ? They are often more like children. I have been embarrased and surprised ,a few times ,by jumping back at folks and hurting some feelings .....Its a fine line no?....:-}

It is indeed a difficult desicion to make.

I used to be the world's worst for bottling all up but the problem then is that our anger may erupt at the wrong time and very often with the wrong person.

I suppose it depends on the situation.

Take care and thanks for sharing another gem.

Eiddwen.
