Candle: A Poem
A single candle flickers in the dark,
Illuminating the contours of my face,
Surrounded by the glow, I feel its warmth,
A beacon of light in the shadows,
It performs its silent dance,
And a hallowed hush is present,
I am not alone, I have this light to carry,
As it radiates my passage through the night.
