Candle's sacrifice !

wiping out darkness
wiping out darkness
lighting the lives !
lighting the lives !
festive Light !
festive Light !
light all over!
light all over!
light for the happiness!
light for the happiness!

Candle burns quite

bit by bit, every night

she ends up her life

for great cause, right !

she lives for others

for others she dies

she sacrifices her life

in spreading out light

soaked up in darkness

the world she brights

descented for the cause

God has given us spirit

dare for, hardly a few

all meagerly but quit .

Interesting picture you have painted with this poem, Shara63.

I enjoyed it. Why don't you write more poems?

I'd come and read them. I love poetry especially original poetry.

Take care. Rich

Shara63, i so liked this poem of candles, I've found from religion to religion they are burnt for many reasons, I burn them for the light and relaxation. Some times I find an aroma I like and will take that one home to enjoy late at night and relax to the smell and flicker.

You asked for criticism of your work, I don't believe there is a person worthy to criticize the of ones heart as poetry often is, and I feel this one was perfect, Thank you for letting me read it,

Peace Mi Amiga,

50/ Dusty

Little light

who spreads the glow

take heart in what you write

even when the wick is low

back will come

more to you

a richer wax

that burns brighter too.

May this year be especially good to you.You have once again taken me on a journey.I haven't been lighting candles around the house lately.Just didn't notice I have gotten out of the habit.Tonight I lit many and enjoyed it so much. When I growing up my mother always had a candle burning and the beautiful smells and the flicker of light always made her home extra special.Thanx for the great memories and making my day.
