Carressing the Storm ..........

She only came to me when the storm
raged within and I knew that
The desperation of torn and
ravaged soul searching......
A smouldering begins inside
she said ......and no relief in sight
except some softened touch .......
Yes I could caress her storms
but could I do that without
falling..........
No........
I think not.......

Short and sweet! You said it all in those few lines. So sensual and romantic, yet naughty!

I enjoyed your poem and your ads. Do you think there really is a place to put poetry? It seems insulting to me that if my poetry is good that I should have to pay to put it in print,(a somewhat different one recently too, thought I might try a different direction) what do you say; about publishers I mean? Don't you think most of it is a rip off?

Hi Jackie , I write just for the sake of writing , so far, at least nothing I write is for $ here. I would love to be published , until I acively seek a way to do that ....here I am. Writing for free , If you have any suggestions I'd love to here them. Do you make money from you're other Blog in poetry? :-}

I was intrigue by the title.Now I am intrigue by the poem. "the desperation of torn and ravaged soul searching....and no relief in sight" Have not written a poem for quite sometime and you describe perfectly what I feel and need....her soft touch.
