The Delight of Inner Experience
Sitting still, waves of blissful energy rushing in.
Dynamic power surging through this mortal frame.
Tears of love running down my eyelids;
An ethereal embrace of ecstatic bliss
As zephyrs dance around me.
“Do stay, my Beloved!”
The heart speaks a silent entreaty
To its Master-King.
Soul drinks deeply from this flood of Light,
As I bathe in His flowing nectar-bliss-delight.
O God of sweet Silence,
O Friend from the great Unknown,
Pour ceaselessly into my heart,
Your compassion-flame supreme,
Touch my core with the fire of contemplation,
And embrace me with Your immortal bliss.
