Rapunzel has been up in her tower for way to long now

She’s getting anxious, getting tired

Of waiting for him to finally come around

She’s read his post card, seen his pictures for many years now

He’s always on his way….

After one more stop one more year one more day….

She has always thought that he would come and save her

Carrey her away.

But the drops not that far, and her window has no bars

There’s no dragons, or alarms just some distance than some grass

She can be out of here so fast… if she jumps…

She grabs some paper and a pen

And constructs a note to him

So when he finally shows up he’ll know

Go find Cinderella

I hear she’s lost a shoe

Go find sleeping beauty she has some waking up to do

Go hunt down snow white

And carry her away

Dive after Ariel, she’s been wanting some legs anyway

Go find another princess

Any girl at all

Because I don’t need Prince Charming there to catch me when I fall.

Nice combination of many of the different princesses. This takes their stories and sort of turns them upside down. Original and fun. Cheers.

Literary Geisha: Thank you! I never thought of turning it into a song, Thats an idea! Of course I would have to find someone to sing it... I have a terrible voice haha.

Hey Doug! Thank you it was fun to write and I’m glad you think it’s original :) It’s what I always thought Rapunzel should do, Take care!
