Chemical poison called Aspartame

Chemical poison
only two words
but responsible for
a lot of the hurt

When those two words
are spoken out
do they fear you
do you worry about?

The damage that
it could do to you
chemical poison
a nightmare come true

Now what am I
referring to?
It is something that
is commonly used

Added to vitamins
for children to chew
in all the gums
you can find it too

Most of the squash
that is being sold
contains that poison
that will kill us all

Chemical poison
in your food
the reason why
your health’s not good

Chemical poison
with an innocent name
only one word
namely aspartame

And so I urge you
do not walk away
from the fact that you
will die this way

Slow decay
awaiting you
if you keep ignoring
the bitter truth

That your food is poisoned
and your pills don’t work
they only add up
to the world wide hurt

There is no saviour
take it from me
you need to take
responsibility

Go out there
and investigate
before you die
in a horrible way

Check out the labels
know the names
of the killer ingredients
that the products contain

Aspartame
only one word
but responsible for
a lot of the hurt

Once again the better thing is eat and drink the natural foods and beverages.

Why take a chewing gum? Why drink a soda?

We must learn to appreciate the fruit, the water, also the good wine, but not those things full of poisons, such as aspartame.

Thanks for sharing, this is a very important issue.

Aspartame is now put in a lot of confectionary and I think medicines also because it's cheaper than normal white sugar. Terrible how we the people seem powerless to stop the global poisons in our food.

Dear Fucsia, I couldn't agree with you more.

And you're very welcome. I started a new series about the poisons in our food and I'm afraid that there will be a lot of poems yet to come.

Love and hugs and have a WonderFul day Fucsia.

Dear Jewels, thank you so much for your comment. And you're right about medicines.

My youngest boy had a serious virus once and so the doctor gave him antibiotics. I picked up the medicine and started to read the list of ingredients. To my shock I read that they added Aspartame. I immediately went back to ask for the same antibiotics but then without Aspartame. The lady started a discussion with me. She actually told me that there was no harm in adding Aspartame. I will spare you the details of the conversation for it was a long and heated one. I did manage to have her make a new bottle of medicine but then without Aspartame in it. It took me a full half hour of battling. Can you believe that???

Beauty of it all was that everybody in the pharmacy was looking at me as if I was a criminal lol. But the pharmacy didn't get away with it and so a little victory on my side.

We have to stand up against these crimes. And we can if we stop giving our consent.

Love and hugs and have a poisonless day!!!

Brilliant LadyFae, needs to be more people like you. It's this very issue that requires principles and not complacency. Bravo! So many items I have stopped buying because of aspartame poisoning.

Dear Jewels, just keep up with what you're doing. Don't buy products containing that poison. And who knows, maybe some day more people will wake up to the fact that they are slowly but surely being poisoned.

Love and hugs
