Christmas Trees, Cats and Toddlers
It's That Time of Year Again
Oh me, oh my, what shall I do?
It's time to set the tree..
Daddy wants it one place,
Kids can't decide between three.
Kitten's first Christmas at our place
Always into things
Jumping up and jumping down
And the chaos that it brings
I see it now, the broken bulbs
Tinsel oh what fun
The kitten waits anxiously
To knock it down when done
If that's not all to think about,
Toddlers hands are there
Ready, able and willing
To make the tree look bare
It's fun to pull the angel
They laugh and play with glee
The glitter and the sparkle
Is something new to see
Takes hours to set up
Many shopping trips to town
Excited, happy squeals of joy
Can't wait to knock it down
Kids eyes light up and twinkle
Curiosity steps in
When dad brings in the Christmas Tree
My head it starts to spin
Oh well, they're only young once
The years too fast pass by
We'll miss the laughter and the joy
Oh what to do, oh my!
