Clean Sweep

Time To Make A Move

When we take a step back and see life in a different view

It is sometimes hard but it is also good for you

There are things that we accumulate over time that served their purpose

There are things that we have never used

We have collected our share of both

Sometimes there is a fine grey line between the two

We have to say I have used it for awhile or I have never used it

It is time to move on

Sometimes it might be clutter in the kitchen cabnets

A box of things that you really wanted at one time

Wouldn't it be nice to share what was once yours now it can become someone elses treasure

Maybe they will love the things you had more than you ever could

Now as I empty out draws and cabnets

The feeling of relief has come over me

It is a pleasure to give something away you like

I hope they put it to good use or give it away someday

This way the cycle of life will never end

When good things can be used over and over again

Yes good things should be used over and over again and I should come here more often to receive the motivation to write like you.

I find collecting old change and giving that heavy stuff away helps me lighten my load. I no longer want to get dollar bills for those pesky quarters, nickles, and dimes. I'd rather have the worthless pennies but I'll shed them too sometimes. Some of these folks gathering change at intersections provide a very useful service. So does DREAM ON!

I'm with you on this. I share and give away by emptying my closets every year, sharing what I have so others can thrive and play it forward to someone else in need. Need is found on every street corner, so be a cheerful giver and open our hearts and pockets to those less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you for the reminder. peace

Dr.Pastorcarlotta I never knew how many things we could grow attached to in are lives. The most cherished is the ones that take up no room.Like happiness.friendship.love,faith,courage,understanding etc...It took me a long time to appreciate and understand my life and how I fit in with Gods love.I am just learning as I go.Thank God(she)is patient.Acaetnna you mean so I can write like you.I love your writings.I think we both can learn from each other. You help me understand things I don't know. Thanks for sharing.Carolina Muscle You have so many cool posts I think I am in the North Pole.Great job on all your hubs.My stories I am still working on getting the bugs out.It takes me a long long time. But I get there adventually.Micky Dee I love those pennies.I use to put them in my yard so someday someone would find them when I am long gone.Maybe they will think I was rich and I threw away more money.Good luck and find more...Nellieanna I am speechless.I feel like a just got a gold star with a happy face attached.Thank you for reading my mind and my thoughts and seeing what I am only learning now.Saddlerider1 We are blessed and I love the empty space.I can enjoy life a little more and with less stress.

a good spring clean is brilliant any time of year. Have you ever written a short story. You could have a character called Sid, and i could edit it for you. He could be cleaning everything out in the house. Hey i found some old poems and stuff i photo copied, maybe i will publish them again,.... Good thing i did not throw them out.
