Coffee to my tongue

coffee to my tongue

coffee to my tongue
coffee to my tongue

Why I am walking barefoot ? like no one around?
The night like coffee to my tongue ...
waking me up without the sound
... I map the words out
Will you say them.?

"Yes" said Night!

As I was walking amidst the lightlessness
I happened to see night
She was sleeping under the mellow shield of fog and rain
Seeing me passing by
She asked where I was going so late at night ..........
‘Scavenging dream’ said I
Night smiled
It was perhaps the most pitiless smile

Said night
"Dreams rest in the fold of those sleepy eyes
Go home find your dream
In your closed eyes"

I am an insomniac, yet i want to dream...the coffee now taste bitter in my tongue

Will you lend me some sleep?

I love this poem. Night as coffee, coffee as night. The dreams resting in the folds of my eyelids!
