Come Sit By Me A While:Christmas Memories To Last Forevermore.
Welcome again;oh how I have come to love these visits and let's hope that they shall carry on into the New Year!!
This past week we have been to four Nativity Concerts in which our grandchildren were starring in.
This is what the run up to Christmas is all about and here I shall share some more special moments with you all.
Right you know the routine by now; take your teas and coffees ! Also bring the Mince Pies and biscuits out here.
Also for a treat I have made some Chelsea Buns; the first time ever ;I hope you will enjoy them.
Right are we all settled and I shall begin......................
A run up to Christmas
blessed with young hearts
Riley a Joseph
Krystal a snowflake
Ellie a down and out called 'Will.'
Neyo a newspaper reporter
Charlie a rapping innkeeper..............................
Oh how our hearts
filled with such pride
Oh how our heartfelt pride
reaching heavens above........
Young talent beyond years
Eternal gifts for each heart
to cherish forever.............
Many a solo sung
with voices so pure
innocence so true..........
Voices sweet as a crisp winter's born.....................
Never ever will we forget
A scene so wondrous each moment so treasured...............
Tender visions as clear as crystal
I will treasure forever
Violins filling each crevice of each welcoming heart
I sat cushioned in golden pride
Thankful for the teachers teaching our babes
Yuletide a passion;full of pride,joy and love.
Each new moment
Each day a new joy sings
My heart brimming over with pride
That Christmas aura always bewitching
I proudly share with one and all
A feeling so wondrous
Each Christmas concert
Innocent voices so bright
Never to be missed.
Oh how I love
The run up to Christmas
Memories so wondrous
Each little one
Filling each heart with love
To the heavens above.
Today I thank
For each day so wondrous
I did applaud
All festive adventures.
Those first footsteps
Onto life's right road
Each survival instinct thriving
As each battle is overcome
That tender shining light we taste
Our wondrous ability to cope
That magical laughter of love
That so long awaited warmth of hope
Success is ours to cherish
My heart and soul I so sincerely share .
Thank you for each and every wonderful friendship I have made here in the midst of my hubfamily.
I appreciate you all more than I can say and may all our Christmases be bright.
Well I hope you enjoyed this visit again my friends. I am now going to ice my Christmas cake .
