Come! Sweet Sonata, Come! A Dedication to Shauna Bowling
On my window,
A rhythmic symphony of golden raindrops,
Imitate the lyrics of the Soul.
Catching the droplets of the dew,
The pink roses waltz with the memory of the flautist,
Calling out Thy name on cultured pine.
Come! My cute Lover,
Amidst the gentle resonance of the waves,
These lips are on fire for Your sweet kiss.
Beyond this veiled curtain, Thy spell caresses me;
I see so many ecstatic lovers,
Laughing in the luminance of the Sun.
The Minstrels hum in the breath of the nightingale,
Love weaving their music like words,
Whispering from the Spirit, so magical,
That even the zephyrs waltz and call their names.
Here on this oceans crest,
I become cognizant of a Higher Bliss,
Descending through the apertures of Heaven;
Flooding the tidal crimson hue,
With their sound of roaring Silence.
Sweet Rhapsody, let me drift in wonder,
Captivated by the breath of your eloquent songs,
The light winds of Thy melody,
Filled with the mindfulness of a greater Delight.
Let me be oblivious to what’s around me,
Your birds chanting verses, revelling
In a sweetness so enchanting,
To awaken the resplendence of the Heart.
Come! Sweet Sonata, Come!
Bring forward a kaleidoscope of radiant lamps,
A prodigious Concerto to nourish the Spirit,
In magnificent harmony, with the One who gave us Love.
