Come take a walk with me.
Today the sun is shining and this reminded me of one day last week when along with my daughter Leah went for a walk around our beautiful Welsh village.
Over the past two weeks I have re shuffled my days totally. I took a couple of weeks off to get to grips with my writing course ;also a trip to the doctor was needed as I was suffering greatly with back pain;which arises from two operations to remove discs from my lower spine.
My doctor stated quite emphatically that I had to divide my day into an hours writing and then to move around to keep all as supple as I can.
Then to take a short walk daily if I could ;I knew my back will never be right but I also realised that I had to shuffle my daily routine.
He also stated as he knows me too well that I also had to refrain from too much heavy physyical work too.
This may sound a little bleak; dilapidating for the want of a better word; but far from it as I have taken on board all my doctor said and this extra walking is brilliant for shedding those extra pounds too.
II am a glutton for punishment (as so many of us tend to be) and carry on and on regardless of back pain ;(I think it's a little misguided mind over matter issue) but I have finally realised that in order to enjoy my life fully for a long time to come I have to listen. So it's a healthy balance of all that's needed.
So today I am sharing my photos and Rictameter poems with you all to share that despite some health issues we can indeed still enjoy great beauty which surrounds us all !!!
I hope you enjoy mine and Leah's walk ;because we had a wonderful couple of hours.
I also enjoy experimenting with different photo modes hence today's pics.
Let's walk
Yes let's enjoy
Beauty so free of charge
Happiness seeps into each heart
Mother Nature's caressing sweet blossoms
So alive,so treasured,so great
Birds are a-calling
Come hold my hand
Let's walk.
Walk on
As we shall taste
Mother Nature's soothing
Contagious wondrous emotions
To inhale her unconditional love
To share in her unselfish ways
Soothing each broken heart
Oh yes we shall
Walk on.
How fresh
How bewitching
How green is her kingdom
A self belief oh so radiant
Inhale her hope, faith and true love
Tell the world of her awesome ways
Wish these for others as you pray
Your heart will lead you on
New messages
So fresh.
This way
Through life's great gate
Venture to pasture's new
Taste each wonder so beautiful
Each warm heart beating in time to our own
Beautiful moments to absorb
A world full of treasures
Lives so precious
This way.
Blossoms
For each warm heart
Scents and sweet aromas
Life's tender paths now clear and bright
A vibrant new light full of self belief
I share with you
Blossoms.
I hope you all enjoyed our walk and remember the sun is always there;the birds always sing ;you may just have too look a little harder some days.
Here's wishing you a wonderful weekend.
Lots of love to each and everyone from my little corner of Wales.
Eddy.
