Coming Home After A Days Work

Opening The Door And Finding A Slice Of Heaven

I am very comfortable doing what I enjoy best

Turning on country music I love so much

Sitting in my favorite chair or just taking a nap on the couch

Getting up at anytime to find something I want to eat in the refridgerator

Hopping in the shower and coming out all clean and feeling so rejuvinated

Putting the t.v. on and watching my favorite sitcom

Reading a little from one of my favorite books

Feeling the breeze from every open window and smelling the fresh air throughout

Relaxing even more by going on the computer and sitting back on my wife's comfortable office chair

Feeding and playing with my two cats who I have missed all day

Preparing meals for supper later

Now waiting for my wife's arrival so we can enjoy each others company into the wee hours of the night

Then tomorrow we get to do it all over again

Maybe this time in slow motion so I can increase the fun

What a beautiful poem and the message that reaches out is that the simple things in life are the most important.

I loved this one and thanks for sharing.

Take care
