Conditioned mentality (The short Story)

Life Is Meant for Making Continuous Efforts

A man,

while on his way,

stopped,

and overwhelmed,

seeing the huge elephants,

tied with a small rope,

in one of their legs.

He thought,

Oh !,

these huge elephants,

and too short ropes,

can't tie these elephants,

but got more astonished,

when no elephant,

tried to move forward.

Asking this mystery,

to the owner,

of those elephants,

the owner replied,

since the childhood,

these elephants,

were used to be fastened,

with the same style,

with the same ropes,

Though,

they grew up,

but they are accustomed,

with this activity,

they still think,

they can't break,

these ropes,

and thus,

never tried to break,

the tiny ropes.

Similarly,

We the people,

of this era,

become often,

conditioned,

when got ourselves,

failure in any way,

that we can't,

do it in future,

while,

the life is always,

meant for,

doing continuous,

efforts,

to get success,

and we,

are fastened,

like,

such huge elephants.

Thanks a lot for your comment. You have rightly told that actually I wanted to write a story but as usual, I could not prevent my views for converting it into a poem. Thanks again.
