Connecting with God - Journal Challenge, Day 22
My power lies in my ability to connect with God. The knowledge of who God is and that I am one with Him is powerful because He is all there is and the providing Source of my unlimited supply. Through the gift of God the Son, Jesus Christ, I am redeemed and reconnected with all access to God the Father and the ability to do all things in Christ’s strength. Through the gift of God the Holy Spirit, God reigns within me and guides me into all truth.
My Power lies in my ability to love and be love. Love is who God is and is His second greatest commandment. Love is a powerful change agent and the salvation of this world. Love drives out fear. Love empowers me to forgive and enables me to be forgiven.
I turn within for guidance and allow God to order my steps and establish my plans, knowing that in Him I am appointed and anointed to succeed. In my powerful connection with God, all things work together for my good because I love Him and am called according to His purpose.
(John 15: 5, 16-17)
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing….16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.17 This is my command: Love each other.”
Regardless of what is going on in my life, I can intimately connect with God through prayer and meditation, reading His word, and praise and worship. My power lies in my ability to sing and dance before God in my lowest spiritual, mental, emotional and economical moments. During those times, I experience a resurrecting surge of joy and power that always shifts my attitude and perspective. I remember who I am and whose I am. I receive the strength and grace necessary to press forward and go another round, higher and higher toward my breakthrough and greatest good.
My power lies in my ability to connect with God and operate in love towards myself and others. Through this powerful connection, God hears and answers my prayers.
