Cookies: A Poem
Warm and golden, they rise to greet you,
Baking to perfection in only 11 minutes,
Melted chocolate chips in a bed of flavorful dough,
Glide out of the oven and onto a cooling rack,
Soft and sweet, they hug your mouth with warmth,
As you wash them down with cold milk,
Everything is right in the world,
When eating cookies reminds you of home.
