Crime Scene

Crime Scene

The crime scene was mainly the car,

with the victim slumped in the backseat,

emotions did not go far,

the body looked like unpackaged meat,

her skirt and bra hiked up to display

a chest and stomach marked by a dozen

or more vertical stab wounds,

the police could feel the heat,

and on the floor of the backseat,

the killer had dumped the contents

of the victim’s purse,

indicating an apparent robbery,

her ghost would curse,

beyond that, there was no physical evidence

in the car,

no fingerprints, no fibers, no hairs,

just exploding emotions, and fears,

no witnesses and no tears.

Great job. This is like a poem for the show the First 48 which I am addicted to. Great work. Simple, yet so impactful. Awesome job.
