Curiad - The Man who Changed So Many Lives and Even Saved One
This hub is dedicated to the man that made so much for so many and now is facing some problems of his own.
A Hubber that started writing about the pitfalls of our system and the legacy that was handed down to him. The following words express our concern for this fellow writer. Seem that America and its dream is fading away through the hands of people that made this Country great. Just Neil Armstrong's heart stopped its fight to keep him in this world. Maybe it was not worth the fight through aortas and complex heart surgeries? Let's see what we have for Mark:
A Hubber And a Dream
Born in San Jose CA, on July 18th 1956, Mark Weller was a cute little boy with so much hope. From birth he was exposed to hard working people and imagination that kept him going. He could've been born in New Jersey, but a twist of fate made the West Coast his home. Just have in mind this date 07/56.
He had two siblings, a brother named James and a sister named Wendy. Grammar school was spent with mom and then... life made changes. Dad divorced mom when he was barely six years of age. Mark finished high school in 1973 at Sequioa High School, Redwood City, CA.
Mark did make it to College and in 1991 finished his studies of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration at San Jose City College.
His Parents And his Legacy
Born in the early 20's Teddy was named after president Theodore Roosevelt. For Mark's dad, hard work was the norm. Those were the years of depression and little money. Sound like we are living those times again? All these scenario took place in the Central valley of California. Like Mark said, his dad was on Army leave in New Jersey, and that's when he met Curiad's mom: Hellen Weller. Dad and mom divorced, as we said, when Mark was only six. Mark enlisted into the Air Force (USAF) and went into the world. "High School was boring, and was nothing but a excuse to babysit us," said Mark.
As taught from birth, his family was all he had. Mark always came back to see his dad and mom. "Dad taught me about honor, respect, love, true spirit and so much more." The love for others and righteousness was instilled in Mark for one reason. The reason why so many hubber stay together as one. Mark was chosen to touch so many lives and he did touch us when he showed us his last home or dwelling.
Unfortunately Theodore's heart stopped on July 18th, 2007 at 07:56 in the morning. If Mark ever noticed the time of his death signaled Mark's own date of birth : July, 1956. Or 07/56.
How in the world this happened? Coincidence? Last message for a beloved son?
Mark the precocious child inherited good ways from both parents. There wouldn't have been an Edison or a Henry Ford without parents. Even Paul Edmondson can tell us about his mom. Hellen was a mom any one would love to have. Well, we love our moms to death, "She was intelligent, caring, outspoken and hard working," wrote Mark.
Born in Northern New Jersey, after world war II (early 20's), Mrs. Weller knew about living hard times through childhood. How did she meet mark's dad? Ask Hellen's brother who was best buddies with Mark's father. Like in any movie, Hellen was stolen from the East coast and ended up in Santa Clara, California, where Mark and his two sibling were born. Hellen took care of Mark for the rest of his grammar schooling years.
Mark talks of her fondly: "We all were taught respect, love, honesty and citizenship by this good woman." Mrs. Weller was a beautiful mom who always was there for Mark. Even had enough time to see Mark's daughter Niki. Unfortunately. Yes!! Why the good people..! Oh God.
Hellen Weller passed away early in the morning, March 1st. 2010 in Santa Cruz, CA. The loss of both parents in three years devastated Mark.
Mark A.K.A Curiad Today
Mark Joined HubPages on April 2011. He wanted to change his destiny like any of us. We all have a tale to tell.
With so much to share and technology at his fingertips, Curiad made his way among us. His Virtual Aviation Reviews were done awesomely. His ways of life made an effect on us and Billybuc. He came to us with paintings, photo-shop tutorials and photographic resources. His knowledge of air ballooning and tomato growing was shared with us.This man was moving along the bytes of HubPages, checking our 'pablums' and writings about the obligations we all writers owe to our readers. The man lifted a boulder off his shoulders when he moved on with his life and his hopes. We all went to relationships and its pitfalls and downfalls. Mark was no exception.
The night he Saved a Life
Mark is a quiet guy who can tell you like it is, when needed. He wrote a hub titled, "The night I saved a life." We just want you to read it and know the real man behind the quill. All we can say is that he was Awesome! He did what he was supposed to do and made his quick moves. A real hero in disguise, who after done, just went back to a normal everyday life.
How to survive the American Dream when it's not there
Curiad has been clear about the hidden forces behind our economy. The way things go, many won't see a tomorrow when money is becoming scarce and cannot live any longer with no income at all. Mark is an example of the forgotten Senior American, who gave it all, even over that 110% and lost it with no warning. Becoming a dad himself in his forties, changed his whole life scenario.
Becoming a man for the planet has a toll. Either you are a follower of "earthly rules," or you become free and ostracized by a society that alienates people by age and gender.
For us, Curiad is an example of a life well lived relying on what our parents taught us. This hub has not been rehearsed or intended to be a bio about him. This is a tribute to an American that was failed by his Government and the system. Curiad my friend, we hope to see you succeed among us, and... with a hand against our heart, you can count on us. Was nice meeting you through the magic of HP. We hope one day, to shake those hands of yours with pride!!
Our Plead and Appeal
We know Curiad is having hard time these days. If you think you can do something to give him a hand, by sharing his work, we will appreciate your gesture. Privately we will try different means ourselves. Thank You!

Going back in time with my 'young self,' trying to find out who the heck made these symbols just to torture our kids?
The end of the year is ending and we felt like writing these words. Started with a title and ended with our own thoughts...at times we don't understand how we get them out like this, but we share them with our friends.
Drinking a cup of coffee came to my mind the word and how related it is to the fate of the world where we live. So many atrocities have been committed in less than 500 years that, we are lucky we are still sane a...
