Cycles

By Tony DeLorger © 2012

All worlds come to an end,

as fleeting as they may seem,

each an infinite yet finite expression,

held within the arms of perception.

All life is infinite,

however fleeting it may seem,

transforming within every state of consciousness,

in every way on a path to perfection.

All words come to an end,

however destructive they may seem,

given flight by intention,

but fading within the unstable foundations of harm.

Love is infinite, transcending time and space,

however fleeting it may seem,

even when relented it hovers in substance,

awaiting an open heart to be filled.

Time is infinite,

no matter how fleeting and rushed it may seem,

ever opened to the possibilities it proffers,

each moment a gift to beheld, a heart to imbue.

Cycles are of the natural world,

no matter how harsh they may seem,

and it is we who face them in reality,

to squeeze the marrow from this opportunity called life.

Your poetry is deep, I love the term infinite myself, and once upon a time long ago I named myself Infiniteone, and prior to that moment it was Infinitesun as a poet and freestyle rapper name, and so I definitely fully comprehend your take on life as a whole as being truly infinite.

I've also learned of grasping the mathematical and scientific aspects of the Infinitum, and so it has been my true connection to the to reach out spiritually to also sense such a reality that definitely exists.

Looking upwards is definitely the way to see it all for sure. Amazing poetry Tony, I'm so glad I found you on hubpages, and can't wait to read more voted up and out.

Great job Tony!

I especially loved this line

"Time is infinite,

no matter how fleeting and rushed it may seem"

Why do we rush things?
