Dancing In Your Peace

The night sky is lit bright

The moon is glowing

The stars are like candle light

Ever flowing.

The river down below

Is raging and wild

The flowers bestow

An essence like a child.

The grass is soft upon the toes

The trees they whisper stories

Here my glory flows

With ancient histories.

Sacred grove here I stand

Dancing in your peace

Held within your hand

Twirling in your leaves.

Here I breathe your fresh air.

Hold me close to your chest

Showing me you care

With every last breath.

And still the river rages below

With fiery, ever so wild.

But I know, as I stand, I know

Peace you offer your child.

Your poem flows gently to a calming end. It made me feel peaceful to read it with its vivid images of nature and the river. Well done.

.....oh my goodness I love your title - it is a title to die for and the words which follow are heavenly poetic - this is as pure as it gets.

sending you warm wishes and good energy from lake erie time ontario canada 11:33am while listening to baroque music and drinking my 2nd cup of coffee.

You were talking about the afterlife - I've had 6 visits from my mum in the last two years here at our family cottage where I live alone with my cats. She died back in 2004 and she keeps moving things around in here - no kidding - but I know it's her.

Thank you very much for a wonderful compliment epi, and we for your mother visiting you, that is a wonderful blessing. I'm glad to hear she visits you from time to time, no doubt checking in on her son.
