Dear Shadow

Dear Shadow

Come shadow, how do you feel?

Lay with me now , is this real?

Kiss my shoulder, give a glance my way

hold me close shadow, don't let me sway

sweet gentle nectar of your lips so glorious to taste

too bad to consume, but a shame to waste

your name dances on my tongue more than before

I would not feel this way again, I so swore

yet here you are again Shadow, so dark and consuming

could it be dear Shadow my feelings for you are blooming?

Hush now don't say a word about my smile,

do not trick me into feeling for you for this while,

I cannot let you make my heart leap,

for the fall down Lovers Grimm is awfully steep,

come Shadow tell me how is your shyness pain?

Beneath your darkened eyes are you afraid to love again?

Go Shadow, I no longer wish to wonder such things

for it is only when the moon is out my heart it rings,

I am back again, the girl from last night is gone.

She took her smiles and kisses from me and left me at the break of Dawn.

Why Shadow, are you so confused? Its a game of Love and trickery , are you no longer amused?

I cannot show you i'm vulnerable, we will decay, and when I walk towards you Shadow, you will fade away.
